• A comprehensive sustainable purchasing, reuse, and recycling program for all facets of the company.
• Shifting towards paperless office practices.
• Using and selling only 100% non-toxic products.
• Using propane and biodiesel to power our vehicles.
• More engagement with other green businesses and the community on sustainable issues through partnership, education initiatives, and mutual local green business building.
• Continuing education about the negative effects of using exotic invasive plants and recommending alternatives to our clients.
• Shifting more garden center inventory purchasing to local vendors and vendors who use sustainable growing, packaging, and transportation processes.
• Becoming “green” and “carbon neutral” certified.
